    The Cathedral welcomes the National Orchestral Institute + Festival Philharmonic under the baton of David Danzmayr, Music Director of the Oregon Symphony. Highlights of this Richard Strauss-focused program include Also sprach Zarathustra, featured in Stanley Kubrick’s iconic 2001: A Space Odyssey, the wildly popular Suite from Der Rosenkavalier alongside John and Jim by Viet Cuong. Livestream option available.

    Each winner will receive two tickets to see David Danzmayr conduct Strauss at Washington National Cathedral. Three winners will be drawn from qualifying entries.
